Flower Delivery in Gaziantep, Türkiye — Order from Abroad

Where flowers go in Gaziantep

Gaziantep, or simply Antep to most Turks, is one city run as two districts. Şahinbey covers much of the south and the older quarters around the historic centre, with the coppersmiths' bazaar and the honey-coloured stone houses. Şehitkamil takes in much of the north and west: newer apartment complexes, wide avenues and the university. Whichever side your recipient lives on, give the mahalle name as well as the street, and for an apartment complex add the block, flat number and a mobile number, since security usually phones up before letting the courier in.

A city that celebrates at the table

Antep is known across Türkiye for its kitchen, and UNESCO lists it as a creative city of gastronomy. Family life revolves around long meals and visits, and engagements, henna nights, weddings, circumcision feasts and new babies all mean a house full of guests. A bouquet sent for a new baby or an engagement will be seen by everyone who comes to congratulate, so choose something that stands on its own: an arrangement or flowers in a box is easier for a busy household than loose stems that need a vase.

After the earthquake: check the current address

The February 2023 earthquakes hit Gaziantep province hard, especially İslahiye and Nurdağı. Many families have moved, some into container settlements, others into newly built housing, and some old addresses no longer exist. Before you send, confirm your recipient's current address and phone number. New housing areas may not yet appear on maps, so add the block or unit number and a landmark. If a new or remote address cannot be found, we will contact you rather than leave the flowers somewhere. For condolences, our guide to sympathy flowers in Turkey explains what is appropriate and when.

Nizip and the pistachio villages

East of the city, close to the Euphrates, Nizip sits among pistachio orchards. During the late-summer harvest whole families spend the day in the groves, so a bouquet for a village house is best timed with a phone call: give a mobile number, the village and mahalle name and a landmark. Villages there and around Oğuzeli, Yavuzeli or Araban may need next-day delivery. In the city, orders placed before the cut-off are delivered the same day, and the delivery fee for each district is shown in the basket before payment.
