Flower Delivery in Mersin, Türkiye — Same-Day from Abroad

Where flowers go in Mersin

Mersin is a long coastal province, and the city itself grows along the shore, from Mezitli in the west to the Akdeniz district in the east. Most orders from abroad go to the central districts: Yenişehir and Mezitli, where gated apartment complexes line the seafront, and Akdeniz and Toroslar, the older and denser parts of town. New complexes go up so quickly here that some are not yet on online maps, so write the complex name together with the nearest main road. Tarsus, the historic town east of the city, is a separate district with its own neighbourhoods; give the mahalle name, not just 'Tarsus'.

Coast, summer houses and the yayla

Mersin families move with the seasons. In summer many leave for holiday flats on the coast around Erdemli and Silifke (Kızkalesi, with its castle out in the sea, belongs to Erdemli), or head up to the cooler highland villages of Çamlıyayla and the Taurus foothills. If you are sending in July or August, check where your recipient actually is that week: a bouquet at a locked city flat helps nobody. In a gated complex, or 'site', security usually phones the flat before letting the courier in, so the recipient's mobile number, block and flat number matter more than anything else on the order. For highland villages and the far west of the province around Anamur, allow for next-day delivery and add a landmark: the mosque, the school, or the coffee house the family is known by.

Hospitals and a mixed port city

Mersin is a port and trading city with a large university, people who have settled here from all over Türkiye, and a well-established Russian-speaking community. Hospital deliveries go to patient information or the ward desk, never to the bedside. Write the patient's full name and the ward if you know it, and bear in mind that intensive care units often do not accept flowers. A get-well-soon arrangement that stands on its own, with no vase needed, is the practical choice for a hospital.

Before you order

In the city districts, orders placed before the cut-off are delivered the same day; villages may need an extra day, and if a remote address cannot be reached we will contact you. The delivery fee for each district is shown in the basket before payment. If this is your first order from abroad, our guide on how to send flowers to Turkey covers time zones, payment and card messages in one place.
