Send Flowers to Turkey from Russia: Payment & Delivery
Hundreds of thousands of Russian speakers live in Türkiye, in Antalya, Alanya, Istanbul, Mersin and Fethiye, and many more visit every year. So sending flowers to Turkey from Russia is a common wish, especially before 8 March and birthdays. This guide covers what matters for senders in Russia: timing, payment, hotel deliveries, addresses and a few Turkish phrases. For the general process, see how to send flowers to Turkey from abroad.
How it works
Nothing is shipped from Russia. A local florist near your recipient hand-ties the bouquet and delivers it in person, and you receive a photo of the delivery by email and WhatsApp. We deliver to all 81 provinces, from Istanbul to small villages.
Same time as Moscow
Orders placed before 14:00 Türkiye time are delivered the same day. Türkiye stays on UTC+3 all year, like Moscow, so for Moscow, St Petersburg and Minsk the cut-off is simply 14:00 your time. It's 16:00 in Yekaterinburg, 18:00 in Novosibirsk and 21:00 in Vladivostok.
Optional time slots: morning 09–13, afternoon 13–18 and evening 18–21 (with a surcharge shown before payment). There are no deliveries on Sundays or Turkish public holidays, such as 1 January, 23 April, 29 October and the Bayram days.
Payment: which cards work
Prices can be displayed in roubles, dollars or euros as an approximate conversion at the Central Bank of Türkiye rate. The payment itself is made by card in Turkish lira, verified with 3-D Secure.
Please note: cards issued in Russia may not work. A Visa or Mastercard issued in another country, for example in Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia or the EU, works. If you don't have one, a relative or friend who does can pay for the order, while the address and card message stay yours. Your bank converts the lira amount at its own rate and may charge a conversion fee; see how much it costs to send flowers to Turkey.
Occasions and dates
- 8 March: Russia's biggest flower day is celebrated far more quietly in Türkiye, so your bouquet will really stand out. In 2027 it falls on a Monday.
- Valentine's Day: 14 February 2027 is a Sunday, so choose the Saturday or Monday.
- Mother's Day: Russia celebrates on the last Sunday of November, Türkiye on the second Sunday of May. Sunday deliveries aren't possible, so flowers arrive on the Saturday.
- New Year: 1 January is a public holiday in Türkiye; send New Year flowers on 31 December.
- Condolences: funerals take place very quickly; see condolence flowers in Turkey.
Flower customs differ too: the odd-number rule is far less strict in Türkiye. Our Turkish flower etiquette guide explains more.
Hotels and resorts
Most orders from Russia go to Antalya, Alanya, Istanbul, Kemer, Side and Fethiye. For a hotel delivery, give the hotel name and district, the guest's full name in Latin letters as on the booking, the room number if you know it and a phone number. Choose a day when the guest is definitely staying, not the check-out day. Flowers are usually handed over at reception.
Writing the address
Give the il (province, e.g. Antalya), ilçe (district, e.g. Alanya, which sets the delivery fee shown in the cart), mahalle (neighbourhood, e.g. Mahmutlar or Oba), street, building and flat number. Many Russian speakers live in residential complexes (site), so add the complex name and block. Write the address in Latin letters, as it is written in Türkiye, because the courier may not read Cyrillic.
Card message
Up to 300 characters, in Russian if your recipient reads it. For a Turkish family, we add a hand-written Turkish translation free of charge. Useful phrases:
- "Kadınlar Günün kutlu olsun!" – Happy Women's Day!
- "Doğum günün kutlu olsun!" – Happy birthday!
- "Seni çok seviyorum." – I love you very much.
- "Geçmiş olsun." – Get well soon.
- "Yeni yılın kutlu olsun!" – Happy New Year!
If the bouquet arrives damaged or wilted, report it with a photo within 24 hours and we'll resend or refund. Questions? Message us on WhatsApp or write to info@flowerturkiye.com. Current prices are on our products page.
