Where flowers go in Diyarbakır

Most orders to Diyarbakır are spread across the city's four central districts. Kayapınar, in the west, has grown fastest in recent years, with high-rise housing complexes, wide boulevards and young families. Densely populated Bağlar and Yenişehir, which includes the Ofis neighbourhood, are where many parents and large extended families live. Sur, ringed by black basalt walls, is the historic heart of the city: the Great Mosque, old caravanserais and courtyard houses look out over the Hevsel Gardens, and the walls and gardens are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Outside the city, Ergani, known for the Neolithic site of Çayönü, Çermik with its hot springs, Silvan with the Malabadi Bridge, and Bismil on the Tigris plain are the family roots of many people from Diyarbakır now living across Europe.
