Who receives flowers in Eskişehir?

In Eskişehir, the recipient is very often a student. Anadolu University, Eskişehir Osmangazi University and Eskişehir Technical University fill the city with young people for most of the year, and plenty of families living abroad send their children here to study. The two central districts share the banks of the Porsuk river. Tepebaşı, with the area around the university, Sazova park and newer housing, is full of students and young families. Odunpazarı is the district of the restored Ottoman mansions that gave it its name, the old bazaar and long-established neighbourhoods; many parents, and many of the city's old families of Crimean Tatar and Balkan descent, live here.

Further out the province turns rural: Sivrihisar with its wooden-columned Great Mosque, Seyitgazi with the Seyyid Battal Gazi complex, İnönü, which gave its name to two battles of the War of Independence, and Çifteler, home to the springs of the Sakarya river.

• Odunpazarı's old streets. Some of the cobbled lanes in the historic quarter are closed to cars, so the florist walks the last stretch. If the mansion is now a café or guesthouse, add the business name.
• Village addresses. For villages around Sivrihisar, Mihalıççık, Alpu or Han, add a landmark such as the mosque or the headman's office to the village and neighbourhood name. Remote villages may get their delivery the next day.
